Parents
The ChiArts Parent Support Organization (PSO) will support the school by:
- providing and supporting school functions for the purpose of promoting fellowship among parents, students and teachers;
- providing funds for extra-curricular programs, travel and guest artists opportunities;
- volunteering for a variety of school functions and activities;
- serving as advocates for The Chicago High School for the Arts.
Meetings are held at ChiArts the first Tuesday of every month (Sept thru June) at 6:00pm. Membership is open to all parents and/or guardians of currently enrolled ChiArts students, and we encourage every parent/guardian to participate. For more information about the organization, please contact the Student Recruitment and Outreach Coordinator. Election of PSO officers will take place during the annual meeting in September 2010.
