Mr. Williams is an experienced administrator who most recently directed operations at the Office of Student Disabilities at Chicago Public Schools. Mr. Williams’s credentials include a successful career as a public school educator, principal, and licensed school psychologist. Mr. Williams is passionate about working in urban, high-need education environments focused on making instruction relevant, rigorous, and accessible to all students. Beyond Mr. Williams’ impressive experience and skills, he extends his commitment to equity and filling opportunity gaps through his work with various community outreach and engagement groups. His community service revolves around helping marginalized groups gain voice and agency in a manner that promotes health, wellness, and self-sufficiency.
Mr. Williams earned his Bachelor of Science in Math and Science Dual Education from North Carolina State University and a Master of Arts in School Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is ABD (All But Dissertation) toward completing his Doctorate in Urban School Leadership at the University of Illinois-Chicago. Among his leadership positions are principal at Evanston-Skokie Public Schools and North Chicago Public Schools and, most recently, Executive Director of Operations at Chicago Public Schools.
